The SSGMC oversees a formal process to register and license healthcare professionals, ensuring that only qualified individuals, including medical doctors, dentists, and pharmacists, are allowed to practice. This service is rooted in the SSGMC’s regulatory mandate established by the SSGMC Provisional Order of April 2014 and activated later that year. The Council evaluates applicants' academic qualifications, clinical training, and performance on licensing examinations. Only on successful completion are practitioners granted official licenses. This rigorous procedure protects public health, establishes professional credibility, and helps maintain the integrity of the healthcare delivery system.
